İddialara göre, Gazipaşa Mahallesi Yıldız Sokak'ta bir anda silah sesleri yükseldi. Bölgeye çok sayıda polis ve sağlık ekibi sevk edildi. 41 ABS 929 plakalı aracın içinde bir kişi göğsünden silahla vurulmuş halde bulunurken, Tuncay K. isimli şahsın da kolundan silahla yaralandığı belirlendi.

Tuncay K. sağlık ekiplerince Bilecik Eğitim ve Araştırma Hastanesine kaldırılırken, henüz kimliği tespit edilemeyen ölen şahsın cenazesi de savcının incelemelerinin ardından aynı hastanenin morguna kaldırıldı. Olay yerinde geniş çaplı önlem alan polis, olayla ilgili inceleme başlattı.
