Karşılaşmanın ardından düzenlenen basın toplantısında açıklamalarda bulunan Sivasspor Teknik Direktörü Ömer Erdoğan, talihsiz bir gece yaşadıklarını belirterek, "Bizim için talihsiz bir gece oldu ağır bir mağlubiyet oldu. İlk yarı üst üste goller yedik. İkinci yarı farklı bir oyun denedik ama olmadı. Değişikliklerle oyunu değiştirebilir miyiz diye düşündük. Haftaya bizim için kritik bir maç oynayacağız. Kayserispor bizim rakibimiz. Oradan iyi bir galibiyet alıp bu tehlikeli bölgeden uzaklaşmak istiyoruz" dedi
